Creative Flexibility

For me, the term “Creative Flexibility” refers to the ability to be flexible in a creative manner. Being open to remain flexible can be one of the most valuable acts or decisions one can embody whilst in the pursuit of ultimate freedom, happiness and peace. The fulfillment of true and lasting freedom, happiness and peace should be at the top of everyones main agenda in life; no matter what work you wish to perform or what you want to do in your life; freedom, happiness and peace, is something that we all share in our hearts desire.

Creative flexibility allows one to pursue the goal of freedom, happiness and peace within your desired arena, without being attached to a particular path towards this goal. The significance of what this really implies is monumental. As we pursue all of our main goals in life it is common that we encounter challenges. We all have the choice to either let these challenges rule us, our feelings, our emotions and our actions in a negative manner or we can see them as opportunities for growth in our strengths, abilities, wisdom and experience.

The way we may expect to reach our goals can be quite different from what we hoped or desired, but this is where creative flexibility comes into play at its greatest strength. It is our beliefs, expectations and perceptions that determines how we go about pursuing our ideal. Most people have a set of rigid beliefs, expectations and perceptions which are truly limiting, they can be our worst enemy whilst trying to live our dream life. When we remain open and flexible in our mode of creativity, we will find that changing our beliefs, expectations and perceptions as often as we need can save us from a lot of unnecessary suffering. For example, we can choose to always follow our hearts, and I personally believe this to be the best way, but we must take our minds with us because we need to be able to think about what we truly want and where we want to be. From following my heart I have learned that what I thought I wanted to start with was not what I truly wanted and to come to these conclusions I had to be flexible with what I believed in.

Getting into a habit of decisive thought, speech and action can be a great servant to us, especially if we have learned to consciously change our beliefs, expectations and perceptions. It serves us in our growth towards fully embodying our ultimate dream and vision. We must be open to change our path and direction whilst we actually live our dream because this is a great practice of freedom. To be free we must act free, and to act free we must express and experience our own freedom in every choice we make.

The path which holds the greatest learning and growth is not an easy path to follow, whether we want to be or learn how to become any kind of artist, business person, spiritual leader or any other role in which one can desire to experience. With a better understanding of what creative flexibility is then we can change our beliefs at any moment when they have served their purpose and fulfilled their duties, holding on to certain beliefs for too long can be detrimental to anyones growth, it will lead one to become stagnant at times whilst fighting a constant battle, all just to remain in the same place whilst wondering why we have not moved forward or achieved what we wanted to achieve. The ability to creatively seek new beliefs that will serve us in the next step of our evolution towards reaching our highest desires, will begin to make complete sense. Letting go of old beliefs can be extremely difficult to begin with, especially if you associate them with the only successes we have experienced so far. But, as with all things, the practice of creative flexibility becomes easier and easier. It is a great principle for success; flexibility in our perceptions and beliefs has immeasurable value, literally.

Having said all this I have come to my final point. What one will find as they let go of old beliefs and perceptions is this, they do not completely disappear, much rather, they have become fulfilled. What this really means is this, you are now open to enhance, build upon, deepen and intensify your perceptions.  This is especially true when you already know what your goals, desires and wishes are, and you are already on the path of achieving these. The only case that this will be different, is in the case that you are just setting out and your old beliefs and perceptions have stopped, blocked or denied you of making any progress. In this case your old beliefs will begin to melt away completely as you constructively build new perceptions and beliefs that will allow you to succeed on your desired path.  Just to make this clear once more, if you are already well on your way, your perceptions and beliefs will become fulfilled, enhanced, deepened, heightened and intensified, and with the use of creative flexibility, there is no limit to how far your fulfillment will stretch, or how much your perceptions will enhance, deepen, heighten or intensify, just think about that for a moment, this has significant implications. If however, you are at the beginning, old beliefs will be deconstructed as you move forward and find more confidence, truth and faith in your new beliefs.

The Breath of Life

The Breath of Light

I developed this breath not long after we had performed the ceremony, mentioned in a previous post. This was the first time, after many attempts made to integrate and become 100% efficient in the practice of conscious breathing that I felt like all my efforts and dedication had created something powerful enough to share. Many explored avenues later, I found myself able to draw upon everything I have learned in this direction, and with it, create a simple yet extremely effective method that has limitless potential and capacity for use in ways that can suit everyone’s mood.

A big part of my dream is to direct everything I do and learn, towards benefiting others and I feel truly grateful for being able to share this with you now, as I live my dream.

This breathing exercise is performed in cycles of 3. This means that for every aspect we breathe through and cleanse, we consciously direct our focus towards this accumulative aspect for a period of 3 complete breaths. The number 3 is the universal number of creation, so with every cycle of 3 breaths, we are naturally creating a new pattern that is ultimately serving us, the world, and the forces in which we are intrinsically linked to.

It would do well to practice the breaths as you read through. Although it may seem a little complex at first it is really easy after it has been practised a few times, it will sink in and integrate to your memory, including the cell memory. You may well reach an unexpected moment in your life when it would do well to have learned this breathing pattern, it has saved my light and created unexpected miracles for me already. There will be a video coming soon to accompany the video because I understand some people prefer to go through this in real time whilst being talked through each breath

  • The first 3 breaths are focussed on nothing more than being conscious of our breathing. We use this chance to calibrate our breath towards a steady and rhythmic system that we can continue to use throughout this whole process. We are aiming for relaxed, comfortable and long deep breaths that use the full capacity of our lungs without any strain.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed on the heart. We breathe through our heart; with each breath our heart has the potential to become infinitely brighter and more connected. As we do this we are receiving love from the universe on the inhalation and sending our love out with the exhalation, using the heart as the point of focus and transfer.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed on our entire body. We breathe through our entire body; with each breath every cell becomes illuminated. As we do this we are receiving vital energy that is being directed into and through every cell of our being as we inhale. As we exhale we cleanse, enlighten and open up every cell for more energy to flow with each new breath. (The amount of energy you can open up to receive with every breath is limitless; the imagination can also be functionally cultivated here).

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed on the earth element. We breathe through the entire material world, all life on this planet, all the resources that have been built up and used around us to bring us to this moment and the earth as a whole. As we consciously inhale through the earth element we draw more energy through it, now we are consciously contributing to something greater than ourselves. As we exhale we send a brighter light back through to cleanse the earth. An emotional feeling of gratitude will amplify your personal development.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed on the water element. We breathe through the entire volume of water here on Earth. As we consciously inhale through the oceans, lakes, rivers and ice, we draw energy through this. With each inhalation and exhalation we draw and amplify the energy and love that allows us to connect with this element more fully, which in turn allows us to consciously purify our waters. This alone can set your body to work more efficiently as this effects and reacts with the water in your own body. (This breath is good to use alone whilst swimming in the ocean, I have tried and tested it during a full moon, highly recommended).

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed on the fire element. We breathe through the abundantly giving fire of the sun; we breathe in its glory and breathe out our thanks. We breathe through the fire of our hearts, the fire that gives us our passions. With each breath our whole self becomes limitlessly more enlightened. We are becoming far more connected than we could have ever previously imagined.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed on the air element. We breathe through the air that connects all creatures, oxygenates the oceans and the plant life that our breaths are tied to. This is a very green breath, it connects us with plants and trees, we breathe vitality in from them and we breathe vitality out for them. With each conscious breath we establish a deeper and fuller connection with the life that vitalises the air that we breathe; this naturally benefits the body with sufficiently more oxygen. (experiment) We also help cleanse and vitalise the air for all the other beings that share the air as a necessary resource.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed on everything we breathed through so far and taking it into a much greater power through the ether. With the first inhalation we breathe through our heart, body, earth, water, fire and air, connecting them all together. As we exhale we exhale through everything as one. With the second inhalation we consciously draw the infinitely abundant energy of the cosmos through these elements and our heart, all as one. With the second exhalation we can send, shine and open our hearts to signal we are ready to take in more. With the last breath of this cycle we breathe through all the elements throughout the entire cosmos that are linked together through the ether, through every star and system out there, we breathe through our very own fabrication, we use our love and gratitude for our existence.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed on mind. With each breath we breathe through the creative and constructive force of mind, that which arranges the elements, the cosmos and every construction in the universe. As we breathe through this force we become aware of the harmony and balance that has created us, we see this now being reflected in our own minds. As we breathe through the perfection and harmony of the universal mind we grant our own perfection and harmony within our thinking. This alone can take us to soaring heights of awareness.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed upon this moment. As we breathe through this moment, with our deeply and fully connected awareness, we are still, we just effortlessly breathe through this moment in its entirely new view.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed on letting go of the past. As we breathe in the past we honour its lessons, as we breathe out we let it all go. We send love and forgiveness to everything that brought us to this present moment, and then we let it go and return to the here and now.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed upon the future. As we breathe in our vision we feel thankful for it already. As we inhale all the qualities, abilities and goals we have desired we connect with it through faith. As we breathe out into the future we leave our signature on this vision we have created. This magnetises you to your desire and your desire to you, you have an infinite amount of ways to make the final connection. True faith and trust can be developed in these breaths.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed upon returning to the present moment, with patience and clarity. As you breathe in an out, connect with the cosmos, earth, water, fire, air, your body and your heart. Breathe through this all with harmony and unison. Enlighten all that your breath connects with. Breathe through this moment with patience and clarity.

  • The next 3 breaths are focussed on our true freedom. We can now breathe fully and deeply through this moment whilst still being aware of our freedom to upgrade, change and make things easier for ourselves and others as we practice and develop our true presence. Breathe through the freedom of being able to embody your vision perfectly. Breath with honour that you love the choices you can freely make.

  • The last 3 breaths are focussed on love. We can breathe in through the cosmos, the elements, our hearts and our souls, we breathe in all the love that we wish to share and send out, we draw this in from as far as our imagination runs wild. With the exhalation we can send the love out into our vision, the people who have helped us and all that sustains our human life. We can continue to do this breath for as many cycles of 3 as we wish or we can just stop for now.

This breathing process in which I managed to thankfully develop and share with you has true power and can be used towards your personal vision and dream with monumental motion; this will set your cause into high power instantly. If you can practice the full cycle in the morning of each day there is no telling how much creative inspiration you will receive. The beauty of this breathe is that the more it is practised the more powerful it will become. It strengthens and vitalises the body, clears and balances the mind, puts one in a steady and organic rhythm that carries itself into effect. Even throughout your day  you can practice any step as you remember it, you do not need to remember the whole process, the process serves you as it creates new thinking and breathing patterns which links them together, making it far easier to tap into a supply of inspiration at will. You can use any part of the sequence at any time you want for as many breaths as you want, having said this, it would be wise to continue practising the full sequence whenever you see fit.

I think there for I create

I think there for I create.

This piece of writing is connected to an experience I had as well as an expert from my second book “Dream Pilgrim” which will be published here along with some other experimental posts.

There are two truths that are but two sides of the same coin, both must be seen in order for any measure of truth to be understood.

One side of the truth can be described as uncomfortable and the other can be seen as nothing less than comforting bliss. In between is but a limbo.

Each one of us must face each side of this coin to understand our own life. It is easy to deny each side of its own value and purpose. For the purpose of my own understanding I refer to one side of this coin as the dark side and the other as the light side.

It makes sense and brings greater value to our own merit to be exposed to the dark side of this coin firstly and experience it as a truth, although we will be equipped with what we need from previous and inspiring experiences. We experience discomfort, suffering, pain, anger and hate when our gaze meets the dark side of the coin, many of us make it no further than this truth. The truth of the dark side tells us and leads us to believe that we are each insignificant waste products of the universe with no real function other than being able to accept our own pitiful and helpless selves as nothing more than a bag of cosmic scum growing on the faeces left behind by a superior being. We tend to fall down a hole of despair in knowing and accepting this truth, we are helpless and powerless as we are thrown around in this tapestry of hierarchy; we turn against each other and all meaning to our life is lost as we learn to look out for our own, we protect ourselves at the cost of all else. This is a sad existence and our judgment lays in the wind far away from the self-critical; we are justified in our own idea of ruling ourselves in a manner that is detached from love, for love is an illusion and holds no value other than being a comforting lie within knowing the truth of the dark side.

Only those with faith in something greater, only those with love for all things can begin to fix our gaze upon the light side of the coin as it revolves, we catch a glint of light in our darkest hour and our faith serves us in the highest way possible; faith is a faculty of mind that we can use or lose, if we don’t use it we will lose it.

Life is a fascinatingly weird and wonderful adventure and there is no way of really telling what lurks around the corner. Sometimes I feel like I am surrounded by light and the universe supports my every move to create more love and light in the world, at times I even feel like there is a huge conspiracy acting in my favour whilst protecting me as I travel into unknown territories; as I follow my heart the right people always appear to guide me safely into and through salvation. Having said this I also experience times where I feel like I have just been living one big lie and that some kind of advanced intelligence has tricked me and took an almighty dump on my face, humiliation follows. In each case I let go completely and accept what is real in the moment.

Increasingly I have learned to never fear a single thing; I do not fear being nothing, I do not fear living in a world of hate and materialism, no longer do I fear living my life to the fullest, in every case I allow myself to act from a place that is not driven by fear. I especially do not fear showing my love towards others; even those who stand against me, those who may be considered my enemies are equal to all else in my eyes. I do not fear the end, I do not fear the now and I certainly do not fear the past. The darker episodes of my life are becoming but fleeting glimpses of the nothingness in which they pose to promote. The illusions that are cast upon me are but reflections of a false reality that can seem realer than waking life itself, they are but a nightmare and at any moment I can choose to awake.

My faith in a better world increases as all my fears dissolve. This dream in which my heart holds dearly will live on far longer than my own body and whether or not my body plays a role in its manifestation is insignificant when I know that each day I am living my highest vision and dream. I accept that everything I know could be a lie, I accept that every one of my efforts could be in vain, I accept that I may never be able to make a difference but I also accept that if I do not try my hardest to make every effort count towards embodying peace in this world that it is I who is to blame for there not being enough love in the world.

I can turn a blind eye to the injustices in the world and live in my own fairy tale where everything is pretentiously glorified and misinformed. I can also vainly fight the injustices, thinking and believing that I can make a difference whilst failing every time, I can fight the very fear, hate and anger I wish to rid this world of with my own hate and anger out of my own fear of future generations suffering greater than we are now. There is a line only the wise can draw and this is a line of detachment.

When we only love those who are suffering and not the ones causing the suffering we create and feed our own suffering. When we love all without judgement we create above and beyond our own love and when we create above and beyond our own love, we create with power. When we create with power we have influence over others, this influence gives others permission to do the same and this is true power.

In the end, everything could be nothing but an illusion. The power of love could well be an illusion; we may well be nothing but bags of meat with no souls who have been tricked into a false life; or the idea that we are nothing but bags of meat with no souls may be the illusion and we may well in fact be powerful beings with divine capabilities of creation. In either case we can be sure that what we choose to believe in is our choice, we do indeed have the faculties to believe in whatever we may and our beliefs are our choice and to both stand by our beliefs and change them when necessary is a symbol of power; we can find ourselves being very contradicting whilst being attached to detachment. If we always follow our heart we will realise that we may well be tricked and turned but when we are wise we hold no judgement and we grow stronger than we could have ever allowed ourselves to be.

It is true that a grateful person is grateful in all circumstances and each of us reading this will have had our fair share of profound bliss and profound sadness.

Once one realises that the dark side of the coin ultimately serves the light side of the coin we will come to understand that darkness is just hidden light, darkness is light in which we cannot yet see for it is still travelling towards us. When we understand that everything happens to grow our love from the inside out we will know something that is truer than ever. Although it can be talked about it cannot be taught in a way to be fully understood unless it has been experienced.

A Natural Pace Wins The Race

We have all experienced it, sometimes being completely unaware. We can tend to view rest periods as a hindrance but in truth, being able to rest well is a certain strength.

Often we can be living a fast paced life with lots of synchronicity, new people and new places. When this occurs in my life I really get into the swing of things, everything seems effortlessly accurate and coincidentally calculated. It can be hard when the flow of inspiration suddenly stops, especially when it really feels like we are getting somewhere by the ticking of many boxes in time with the ticking clock.

As I became aware of this pattern I realised a cycle, but it was not a repeating pattern. It is more of an upward spiral; with each cycle the ability to act and respond accordingly increases, developing responsibility. The most fascinating thing I have discover through the study of my own thoughts is something very obvious.

Our thoughts are directly related to our experiences, but not in the way that it is mostly imagined. At first, we are not yet that experienced and we may feel the need to blame others for things not going the way they were intended to go. We blame the situation itself for the result of any negative emotions and thoughts.

Through experience we are each gifted with the ability to learn valuable lessons. One of the most valuable lessons I have learned to date is that our thoughts do not only determine how we react to situations but they also influence the situations we will find ourselves experiencing in the future. We can gradually lift ourselves to the path we want to be on, walking in the direction we know we should be walking. When we awaken to our own limitless potential we tap into a power that is hugely transformative. The only way to awaken to our full potential is to intend it, and we do this by carefully choosing our thoughts, quite simply.

When we weed out the thoughts that can serve no possible good to others or ourselves, we carefully prepare the soil to plant the seeds of our own choice. This is the first step of consciously creating the life of our dreams, and much like planting regular seeds, the seeds we plant for new thought patterns take ‘time’ to grow and unfold their true beauty.

The best time to create new thought patterns is during periods of rest. To rest well does not necessarily to do nothing, sometimes a rest period can last up to and beyond a month, it just depends on the individual and the nature of the work they wish to carry out. Having said that, a rest period can last all of 5 minutes. Taking a short break to breath deeply and clear the cluttered mind has infinite potential and can often lead to a sudden flash of insight that can change the course of ones life.

In order to rest well one must be able and willing to let go not just physically but both mentally and emotionally as well. If you follow your intuition and do not push yourself to breaking point, well selected rest periods can have significant health benefits; physically, mentally and emotionally. It is important to fully embody the rest period once it has been decided, no matter how great or small this period is. I used to find it difficult to let go mentally, my work would never leave my mind and I was more than likely to be hard on myself, sometimes I would feel guilty about not getting stuff done.

With time I learned to fully let go mentally and emotionally as well as physically and with practice it became a habit. I cannot begin to even elaborate how beneficial this has been for me in all areas of my life. Quite ironically, things seemed to move along quicker once I fully learned the art of natural and organic patience. I found that stress led to a poor quality of work and would eventually manifest as some form of illness, which then put my mental state at risk, because I would blame the circumstances and the others involved in the situations I found in my outer world. There was always a sense of “this is not fair” or ” I should just give up, everything is against me”.

If I was to put it down to one thing that changed this way of thinking and how I was eventually perfectly able to handle any situation without stress, doubt or worry, it would have to be the conscious integration of proper rest periods. Firstly I began to think differently about situations and see the positive side of things, I would develop these new thought patterns in my rest periods. Secondly, due to the new nature of my thinking patterns, I was able to create differently and direct my self in a clearer direction, which would then land me in situations that were in harmony with the way I was thinking. I realised I was always in a state of equilibrium, whether it was with the old way of thinking or the new. Even in what I would have termed inharmonious conditions, I learned to appreciate that this too was in harmony with my state of mind, it was just that my state of mind was not yet fully optimised and conditioned towards what I really wanted.

I learned that I was responsible for how I reacted and thought in relation to every environment I found myself in. I learned that I must change for things to get better. Over time I began to truly honour my rest periods whilst letting go of all tensions from my body, mind and heart. It has always been in this space that I would advance most and gain valuable insights and motivation. It took a little time to become fully trusting with my inner promptings but I learned the nature of cause and effect.

In any instant we can feel to always be at the effect of what others do, but this can be changed through carefully crafted rest periods, this is where you become the cause of how your life will be directed and experienced.

Do not be hard on yourself, rest actually helps you appreciate the time you have. If the work you do is your life’s work and you are passionate, remember that it is your life’s work and it is OK for you not to have completed it in 1 year, 2 years or even 10 years. If you complete it so soon you would be fulfilled and technically ready to die. Enjoy life and grow in tune with nature, a tree does not hurry to grow, yet one day it will have reached full growth. The pace of nature has been set through billions of years of experience, it has been developing perfection since well before you were born, learn from the world already around you and create accordingly.
