I have decided to dedicate a page towards my own poetry, having said this I would love to share other works of poetry on here as well. I done a fund raising campaign at the beginning of 2013 and I wrote over 30 poems for different people around the world who donated money, the poems were based on the persons own dreams, ambitions and visions of the future. It was so refreshing to direct my creative energies towards someone else’s vision, it was a true blessing. Although these poems from The Universal Collaboration campaign will be compiled into an e-book and sold at a very affordable price I will share them here occasionally as well.
If you have any poetry you would like me to share on this page, written either by your self or someone else, please do not hesitate to ask me. I would love to share your work on this page as well, I love the idea of bringing poetry into the public domain to be shared with and experienced by all.
The title of this poem comes from a line of a much earlier poem I wrote
Enticing waves on the shore of personal favour
As the waves on the shore roll universal tales, with eternal hugging love,
I heard a voice of oneness, and it’s truly awesome prayer.
–
Existence of inspiration, in all places within one time, reflecting pure great wisdom, with infinitely perfect time.
–
Once the world upon me
Was nothing but just noise
But now I hear a light so clear
Transcending my delight
–
As the light upon the post did shine, brightly every night
Casting a great brilliance and radiating sight
I heard a voice upon a wave that came down from above
A frequency not dreamed of appeared with lightning speed
As I became the beacon I firstly seen it true
In others that stood around me I seen the light within
A simple act of giving, created light within, as what I seen in others came quickly unto me
Just the thought of others being truly brilliant light, passed the first impressions, I found a crystals truth.
–
As I make reflections, my love it does now shine, for what I see in you is now easy for you too.
An effective way to transform the world is to share your simple truths
These words they now have fallen, fallen deeply as within, sinking like an anchor to ground a sailing ship.
At first you may not know this, but next, in just one instant, a truly genius bliss.
–
The seeds they are now planted, in abundance with great care,
A garden of the soul is where you play your role,
A joy it is to know this,
Not one thing now to miss,
For all of life is one, and the fun has just begun.

I am what you are
I am the blood that pumps through your very veins, I am the dynamic heart that beats light and life through the essence of being.
I am all that you see and all that you hear, I am your eyes that see myself reflected upon the countless stream of endless faces.
I am the light of the sun and the gleaming moon, I am the bestower of the light in life.
I am the arrow that gets pulled back as I take aim. I am the target that is never missed, even when I am not in sight.
–
I am every direction.
I am every lost soul,
And every renewed faith.
–
I am the success in every failure.
I am the inspiration behind every action.
I am the intuition that lies within every instinct.
I am the wise man that hides in every fool.
I am the achievement of every lost struggle.
–
I am the endless beginning.
I am the enduring now.
I am the ceaseless denial of my own existence.
–
I am the whirlwind of universal light.
I am the meandering wanderer that walks in every striving direction.
–
I am the nothing that becomes the something and the everything.
I am the grain of sand in every particle of land.
–
I am the Alpha and I am the Omega.
I am the source of every desire and inner fire.
–
I am the experience.
–
I am what you are made of and you are made of what I am.
I am not separate from you but I am the illusion of separateness.
I am the clarity of oneness.
–
I am perception, reason and imagination.
I am one, you are one, we are one.
We are perfect and complete.
~Dean Shaw
In The Tundra
In the Tundra we hunted wild beast.
With a spear or a dagger at least.
But what set us apart,
Was not hammers or darts.
It was wit that allowed us our feast.
But then came the onslaught of farming.
Which brought on a behaviour less charming.
We squabbled and fought,
Free land sold and bought.
With no evidence in sight of it calming.
Over thousands of years we evolved.
Into consumers who do as they’re told.
What the future may bring,
With the need of this bling,
Is resources with a sign that says sold.
The forests torn down with no thought.
The catwalks are fraught with blood sport.
With green passing hands,
We’re destroying the lands.
Planet Earth, our small unsustainable fort.
We change or we cease to exist.
So raise up your hand in a fist.
With consuming denied,
Corporations would die
And so would this mentality of risk.

Personal Perception
Perceived knowledge can give, yet still close up a door.
True knowledge can’t be taught, and that is for sure.
Observation, after all, is all we can do.
With limited perception, it’s all up to you.
Only your imagination can be your true understanding.
With indoctrination designed to be so damn demanding.
It’s too easy to be influenced and bitterly controlled.
With injected ideas mutating ten-fold.
There are two kinds of mind to exist on this rock.
‘Imagine this! Imagine that!’, a gift to unlock.
The admission of not knowing clearly setting you free.
Not chained up in dogma, unable to see.
So bring forth your mind and give it your best.
The answers aren’t there, so give up the test.
I can’t speak for all, for this is my perception.
You just need to dream and use imagination.
